Dooooooom (Not So Much)

Dude, where’s my credit crisis?  The Dow is up about 250.  If things were really that bad, would Congress take off for a couple of days?  If the market recovers even a portion of what it lost yesterday, do we really need a bailout?  Even if the bailout is unnecessary, Congress still needs to act to at least abolish the CRA.  And lower taxes.  And cut spending.  And reduce the size of the federal government…

UPDATE: The Dow closed up 485.  Are we fiddling while Rome is burning or are the chicken littles trying to scare us with reports of the sky falling?  I’m going with a flaming chicken running around crying wolf.  I think that covers all the bases.
