Double Teaming

It looks like Sarah Palin will not only be facing off against Joe Biden at Thursday’s VP debate, but also against the “unbiased” “moderator” Gwen Ifill.  Ms. Ifill has written a book about Obama called “Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama,” as well as written a cover story about the Obama family for the magazine Essence.  The press has been biased for decades, but never so overtly obvious.  If she had any sense of ethics, Ifill would remove herself as the moderator.  However, she probably thinks she can be fair and balanced even though her financial future will be directly affected by who wins the debate.
