History Lesson
From Instapundit, this article reiterates what I’ve said before. If you want to know what an Obama presidency will do for America, take a look at what affect similar policies have had on Michigan and Detroit in particular. Detroit used to be a great city. It hasn’t been that way in a long time. Our politicans don’t seem to be able to learn from history. Obama plans to bring back another Carter administration. That didn’t work so well the first time, not on domestic issues nor on foreign policy. The current lot of socialists and communists always believe they can fix the problem, because it will be them leading the country and not someone else. Ego. All that is needed is the right leader who can bring hope and change. No thanks. I’ve lived in SE Michigan my entire life. I hope Obama doesn’t do to America what Young, Kilpatrick, and Granholm have done to Detroit.
