Thank You

One characteristic of a democracy is the peaceful transition from one party to another.  In US history, this has occurred many times, starting when Jefferson took over after John Adams (who ideologically agreed with Washington).  There was a little hiccup during the last transition, when the liberals threw a little temper tantrum as the Clinton administration destroyed some government property by removing the ‘W’ key from several keyboards in the White House.  This time, however, the transition is being handled with grace and dignity.  I didn’t agree with all of Bush’s policies, but after 9/11, he has kept us safe.  So, thank you Mr. President and good luck to the new Mr. President.
